Reflection: 

I felt the entrepreneur that I interview was very aware of his customer base and needs. One of the items that he mentioned off camera was that a lot of his customers procrastinate in getting certified to dive. Other than that he was aware of where to advertise and where not too. Great interview as far as I am concerned.

  1. As someone who has gone through the process to get certified to dive the owner of this company seems very customer-friendly and helpful. It is very true that many people procrastinate in getting certified to dive and it is very important for businesses to be able to supply them with a certificate efficiently or else they may go elsewhere.   2. Hi Dallin. Great job on your interviews. The entrepreneur definitely uses creativity in his advertising, especially dropping off donuts at the police station. It's got to be hard to market a scuba shop in St. Cloud since it's not exactly close to the ocean, just lakes. It seemed like you were interviewing a couple customers at a restaurant and I was just curious if it was one by the scuba shop. Good job!

    I like that you chose to interview the owner of a scuba shop, which is definitely a niche market and forces the owner to be very aware of who he is targeting. This definitely seemed to be the case here, as the owner seemed in touch with who he was targeting and what he needed to do to reach them. Based on what all 3 of the "customers" said, it seems like he could possibly benefit from Google advertisement as well.

    I like that you chose to interview someone unique. I, myself, have never been scuba diving so I actually was able to learn a little from your interview with the owner of the shop. He seemed to be an expert on this area which is a necessity when it comes to selling this kind of equipment, also he seems to have a genuine passion and care for the type of work that he's doing.
