Service Industry Union
Week 5
My opportunity is to provide service industry employees with representation for fair wages and benefits as well as representation for being fired/released without a valid reason
My solution is to form a Union for service employees.

I like how you tied in college kids to your video and it really sounded like a tv commercial for a professional law firm or political representative! ReplyDeleteVery good job doing your elevator pitch. I applaud you as many student, me included, missed this assignment. I think you have a great idea starting a unioon to help give service employees a voice and representation. You seem to have a good grasp of your target audience as well. You understand that many students are primarily working in service jobs and targeting these students will get more support for your idea. ReplyDeleteGood job on your elevator speech and your petition, it seems like a great idea for everyone that work in the service industry because I myself being a college student working in the food/service industry see one on one how we are overworked, have insane amount of hours, and above all under payed. I myself would consider to be a part of this union, and I'm sure a couple of my coworkers would agree.
